Ebay experiences I'd like to share
Shipping: Many sellers are making a hefty profit by slapping postage and
"handling" fees well in excess of the actual shipping costs. I do not
attempt to make money on shipping. I only charge for the actual cost of shipping
the item.
Communication: I am finding an
increasing trend in poor communications from recent auctions in which I was
involved. When it comes to my auctions, you will receive timely
communication from me. You will get prompt replies to your inquiries regarding
my auctions.
Feedback: I believe that the feedback process is a very important part of the auction process. You are basically sending money to a total stranger. The feedback history can give you a sense of what kind of person you are dealing with. I always post feedback for my transactions, but I find many people don't bother to do the same for me. If I've done well, I'd like to hear about it. If I've done badly, I'd like to know about that too.
