Hello and thanks for visiting Studio Sinaloa.
My name is Johanna Girard, and my studio is located in Pasadena, California on Sinaloa Avenue, hence my Ebay ID "studio_sinaloa".
I have been a professional artist, illustrator and art instructor since earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 1986 at Art Center College of Design. While a student there, I was priveleged to have had the opportunity to study under some of illustration's contemporary masters such as Harry Carmean, Vern Wilson, Dan McCaw, and Craig Nelson.
As a commercial illustrator I have done everything from architectural renderings to storyboards for TV commercials. My commercial artwork has been published in open edition prints by Dogwood Publishing and distributed in stores such as Target, Bed, Bath and Beyond and Crate and Barrel. The artwork that I do for my own enjoyment and is what you see here on Ebay.
My studio is also open for private and small group Art Lessons for Kids, Teens and Adults. If you are in the Southern California area and are looking for Art Lessons for your Kids, I have 15 years experience teaching art. I have taught oil painting to kids as young as 5!
