I am a former US Navy Petty Officer in the submarine service. I served 10 years of active duty including 2 tours on a fast-attack submarine and 1 tour of shore duty at a submarine support facility. During my time in service I made 3 major overseas deployments, including to the Persian Gulf and the Med, taking part in Operation Iraqi Freedom. I am also an active member of the United States Submarine Veterans Inc. (USSVI) and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). |

Some of my hobbies include amateur science-fiction writing and running a science-fiction and fantasy fan club chapter in Massachusetts. I've been a user of eBay for several years and enjoy using the site a lot. (Maybe a little too much sometimes...) eBay has helped me to build up a world-class collection of international submarine insignia, comparable to the collection of the Sub Force Museum in Groton, CT, and of which I am very proud.
In the last couple of years I have also built up an extensive collection of autographed photos from all subjects, including TV and film stars, celebrities, astronauts, presidents and real-life explorers. eBay has helped me build my collection from just a handful to several binders full! |
