The inspiration for all that I do..

I am the proud mother of two beautiful little boys, the oldest of which has Autism. When he received his diagnosis in 2000, we felt desperate for answers to the question, "How do we help our son?". We hired a team of professionals to come into our home to work with our son using a method of treatment called ABA or Applied Behavior Analysis. We had therapists coming to our house every day of the week. They would start knocking on our door at about 9am. A therapist would work with Christian for about three hours and then a new therapist would arrive to take a shift. This would go on until about six in the evening. Once Christian started school, we scaled back the therapy somewhat. Although, we still had a therapist come each afternoon to work with him for a few hours. By the way, he also receives ABA and Verbal Behavior Training at school.
ABA has truly changed all of our lives. Christian started out being totally non-verbal. After only a few months of ABA, he slowly began to say a few words. He still would prefer to not say very much, but at least he is able to verbalize his wants and needs. He is also able to answer many questions. This form of therapy has enabled us to help our son learn to communicate. ABA therapy can be extremely expensive. A typical program can run anywhere from $15K per year to as much as $60K per year. After two and a half years of paying for expensive consultative services through a private agency, my husband and I decided that we would educate ourselves so that we could run our own home program. We read every book we could get our hands on that described the different methodologies used in developing and implementing a successful ABA program. We began to work with our son and train college students to work with him as well. We began running our own home ABA program. In the process, we've created several "drills" books to use in our program. People kept telling us that we should make our information available to other parents and teachers who work with Autistic children. So that's exactly what we did. We bought a color laser printer and began printing and assembling our books for others to purchase. We've sold our books all over the world. Ebay is awesome in that it has enabled us to make our information available to so many people. We're not experts. We're simply parents that want the best for both of our children. We hope that you find our information helpful.
Of course, sometimes we sell other things on eBay. I'm "spring cleaning" throughout the year. There's no telling what all you may find in our listings. You could find all sorts of clothing, car and home stereo equipment, computer accessories, office supplies, etc. I thank you for your interest in our products.
