Hello! Thanks so much for your interest in my ebay auctions. My name is Amy Solovay and I am an artist with a textile design background. I sell on ebay using 2 different IDs.
This ID, sugarpinkrose, is for my eclectic assortment of books, magazines, craft items, and antique paper and ephemera (including my latest obsession, paper lace!). I am an avid collector, and these items are usually things I have purchased for my own entertainment. Since I am totally obsessed with textiles and fiber art, you will usually find patterns for needlework, knitting, crochet, lace making, and sewing among my offerings, plus vintage fashion magazines and things like that. I especially enjoy vintage and antique patterns, and I hoard and collect those and occasionally part with some of them in order to be able to buy more.
I am also extremely interested in interior design, decoration, architecture and furniture; mid century modern design has really captured my fancy and I have been doing a lot of reading on Eames, Mies Van Der Rohe, Verner Panton, and other designers.
My other ID, amysolovay, is where I sell my own original art. This is a recent change and I am still in the process of moving my artwork over to that ID. Hopefully soon they will be completely separate. I hope my customers will find the separation helpful.

Shipping Information
I would be glad to combine shipping on purchases from both of my 2 IDs (assuming of course that it is safe and practical to combine the shipping on the items in question. Most things I sell could be shipped together, but please don't ask me to combine shipping on, for example, a box of books and a painting framed behind glass- that just wouldn't be a good idea even knowing that I package well!)
Speaking of packaging, please be assured that I take great care in packaging and I package safely. I take care to make sure to adequately protect your item from damage. I am also flexible in how I ship things, so if you have a special request for shipping please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate.
If you are in a hurry for your item I recommend that you pay with paypal or bidpay. I usually ship within a day or 2 of receiving paypal or bidpay payments (and I will often ship the same day.) My car has been problematic lately which means that I am not able to get to my PO box as frequently as I would like to, so if you pay by check or money order please know that shipping will not be instantaneous. I do not usually hold checks or money orders for clearance, but I reserve the right to do so.
Returns
I want you to be totally thrilled with your item. If for some reason you aren't, please let me know! If it was my error (if I somehow overlooked a flaw in the item, or if I accidently sent you the wrong thing, or something like that) I will refund your money in full including shipping both ways, AFTER I receive the item back in the same condition in which it was sent out. If you want to return an item but it was not my mistake, I will refund your purchase price minus ebay fees and shipping will not be refunded. I bend over backwards to accurately describe my items and assure your complete satisfaction.
In the unlikely event that your item becomes damaged during shipping, please save the packaging and notify me right away so that we can work together to file an insurance claim with the post office.
