Our 25th Anniversary with friends (Carol & me in back)

My name is David Lee Hallmark and I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico with my wife Carol and son, Michael,a cat,Coco and a turtle named Earl. Carol and I have been married for twenty seven years and Michael, who is now twenty three, continues to live, well actually sleeps, and sometimes hangs out with friends at home.

Michael has become a successful server and bartender at a very popular local restaurant, Jinja Bar & Grill.  Carol pursues her own successful business as an accountant/bookkeeper and business financial development consultant which she calls Intuitive Solutions while I have had the wonderful priviledge of being able to lead guided tours here in Santa Fe and in many of the old Spanish and Pueblo Indian villages of Northern New Mexico for the last sixteen years and for the last five years pursued a live-long passion of making art and to begin exhibiting at local art venues (Santa Fe is the second largest art market in the U.S.) and have actually sold a few pieces and traded others as well.

  While Michael divides his time working, sleeping, hanging out with friends, and pursuing a career in the film industry as a Grip, Carol and I are actively involved with our local spiritual community, The Celebration, where I function as a weekly facilitator on a rotating basis and sing in the choir and where Carol, a former facilitator and I are active on the Celebration Council, the decision-making body of the Celebration which follows the model of the Quaker meeting in it's use of consensus rather than majority rule; Carol also spends a few evenings a month sharing her love and energy with inmates at the local New Mexico State Prison with an organization devoted to the concept of Restorative Justice in the Penal System. while I am actively involved with a local association of artists Santa Fe Book Arts Group (BAG).  I am also actively involved with an International organization of men called the ManKind Project and meet weekly with a small circle of men to do work to confront individual and societal issues as men.
