Carrie's Mexican Love Affair Ever since I first visited Mexico, I have been in love with the people and the culture.  Whenever I am at home, I am always planning my next trip.  It was only natural that I should try to find a way to finance these trips, and selling handicrafts seemed like a good way to do it.  Now whenever I visit Mexico, I always have an excuse because its a "business trip."  However, shopping the Mexican markets and talking with the local artisans is the funnest part.  I started out just bringing back a few suitcases, but now we make biannual visits in our camper and trailer, which we pull around back.  Because I now have the connections, I could just have everything shipped but then I wouldn't get to explore my favorite country.   I hope you enjoy these wonderful pieces of folk art as much as I do.  Each mexican piece has been handcrafted and personally picked out by me! I am a mother of two wonderful boys, Zane and Ian.  My husband and I have been married a decade now, and we are already sharing our love for travel and other cultures with our kids.  We first took Zane to Mexico when he was 9 months old, and Ian when he was 2 months old.  We are already planning their first trip to Peru.
