When I first encountered Ebay, I was trying to find more sunflower stuff to add to my collections. I have sunflower accents all throughout my house.
Lately, however, I have been doing quite a bit of business on Ebay because of a different reason. On March 28, 2005, my Mom passed away. She was a wonderful lady with a heart of gold and had many passions. I have been selling her collections. She loved cake decorating, crocheting, Barbie dolls, porcelain dolls, and wolves.
Selling her collections has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I have been surprised at the amount of people that have emailed me just to give their condolences or to let me know that they are going to take care of her items. I truely appreciate that. I never expected to create friendships while doing this, but I have. I like to believe that my Mom had a hand in that.
