I have been selling records since 1983. I guess I caught the record bug in 1968 when I first started buying records at age 8. At the time, I was into The Doors, Cream, Status Quo, Traffic and the Ohio Express. Since then, I have gotten into every style that has come along more or less. However, it was during the punk era that I really became an avid collector - garage, progressive and psychedelic being my favorites. My favorite artists include Love, Family, The Teardrop Explodes, Soft Machine, Guided By Voices, The Bee Gees, The Laughing Clowns, Traffic, and a million more.
More recently, I really dig My Morning Jacket. The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Dead Meadow, The Coral, Beachwood Sparks, Son Volt, Wilco, and The Warlocks are some of my other current favorites. I am also very into free jazz and Peter Hammill. I have written a few reviews on Julian Cope's Head Heritage website. Other than that, I torture myself by being a Chicago Cubs fan. I also dig the Kansas City Royals (somebody has to), and minor league baseball. I love to watch baseball while listening to Albert Ayler.
