ABOUT MY AUCTIONS
A note on Vinyl Records: A used item will always show signs of being used such as light background noise (usually between tracks). Most collectors understand this. No record will be graded above VG if a scratch can be felt with the edge of the fingernail.
I use the a strict system of grading and here it is;
(MINT)- Absolutely perfect in every way. (I don't use this grade unless the record is sealed).
(NM) A nearly perfect record. This is my highest grade. This record should look very clean. This would be comparible to most seller's Mint grade.
(Excellent) Slightly below NM- but above VG+. May have a couple of light scuffs which do not affect play and may show light signs of use but not excessively.
(VG+) Record surface may have very light scratches or scuffs which do not detract from the listening experience and cannot be felt with the edge of the fingernail. Possible surface wear. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are o.k. My VG+ will usually satisfy most vinyl collectors.
(VG) Many of the defects found on a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise may be evident upon playing, especially during the soft passages and during the songs intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove-wear may start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with the fingernail) that will affect the sound.
(VG-) Very similar to the above flaws, but more pronounced. This can still be an excellent listen if you can get past the crackle and lot's of times old records look much worse than they play.
(Good) This means Good, not Bad. This won't be a copy to last forever but will do until a better one comes along. I usually won't list anything in this grade unless it's super rare.
I try to be precise in my grading and I think that I do an Excellent job. I am careful to grade each record and cover with precision, sometimes I make mistakes but overall I would say that my grading scale is much more strict than most seller's that I have encountered as a buyer myself,

(2.) A mistake was made in the description of the item by myself or something was overlooked.
(3.) The item is postmarked no more than 3 business days after it has been received by the purchaser unless other arrangements have been made.
(4.) The Buyer may not leave: Negative, Neutral or Detailed Seller Ratings less than 5 Stars each, this must be completed before the refund can be processed.
(5.) No refunds without grounds: i.e. "you didn't like the music" please read the description before agreeing to purchase and ask questions if you need more information.
I do not offer returns from Overseas buyers due to the cost of shipping and time involved in returning. Buyers outside the USA may return an item at their own cost and the original auction value will be refunded when the item has been received but not the postage. U.S. buyers must pay the shipping cost. I ship very securely between several layers of cardboard and sometimes this may cost more to ship to my International customers, but it's worth it, just to be safe. If you have Negative Feedback or have given out Negative or Neutral feedback, I may reserve the right to cancel your bid and your account will be blocked. If you have a feedback profile of less than 10, please email me before bidding with your intention to pay and I will be happy to accept your bid.
Thanks again for reading the "fine print". Best wishes, Deepgrooveguru.
