Surveillent was created to provide small businesses and the non-typical low-voltage installation companies (electrical contractors, IT cabling companies and installation-only firms) an opportunity to take advantage of our security-industry knowledge and expertise. All of the highly visible security brands we offer are available on eBay and if you do not see what you are looking for, contact us and we will try and get it for you.
Through our store on eBay today, businesses and resellers who do not have the in-house security staff can take advantage of Surveillent's expertise to make those buying decisions the right ones, the first time. Many small businesses and low-voltage contractors simply cannot afford and do not have the resources to hire an outside security consultant or engineering firm to help them make those purchasing decisions.

Tax
We staff and operate warehouses across the United States in California, Texas and New Jersey. When we ship products into California, we are required to collect tax from you as well. If your ship-to address is in California, we will need to collect 8.25% tax.
If the listing does not automatically include this tax, please contact us for this additional amount. We may be able to offer some additional discounts depending on your purchase to offset some or all of this tax.
Domestic Shipping
Surveillent prefers to ship to Paypal confirmed addresses, when paying via Paypal. Surveillent ships primarily via UPS within the USA and via USPS into Canada and we do not ship to PO boxes. All shipments go UPS Ground in the US unless otherwise agreed to in advance.
You will incur additional shipping costs when your shipping address is in Hawaii, Puerto Rico, USVI and Canada. Please inquire about the additional shipping costs to these areas prior to sending us your payment.
Surveillent ships every business day that we are open. Under normal circumstances, during normal business hours, if your item is paid in full before 1:00 P.M. (PST) we make every attempt to ship your item the same day. In some cases, when an item is out of stock in our warehouses, it will either be shipped to our warehouses or shipped directly from the manufacturer to your address. In these cases, it may take another 2-3 days before your item is shipped.
Your item will be packed properly, securely, and in a smoke-free environment by our professional and knowledgeable shipping team. We take every step ensure every item is double checked for accuracy and is well packaged so it makes the trip to your destination safe and sound. All large, heavy items need special packing and shipping via freight carrier.
Although we detail the shipping costs right on the items page, in some cases, based upon more than one item, we can reduce the shipping price. Please contact us before you purchase or prior to sending us your payment so we can make this adjustment.
International Shipping
Surveillent currently only ships to the USA and Canada however, we have shipped internationally on a case by case basis.
Warranty
Surveillent stands behind the original manufactures warranty terms and conditions up to one full year, whichever is less, from the date of original purchase. The warranty for each item is not reflected on the items selling page but at the manufacturer’s website.
We offer an exchange of the exact item within the first 30 days. During the terms and conditions of the warranty period, it is at the sole discretion of the original manufacturer to either repair or replace the item. Surveillent will pay for the shipping and any related insurance to Surveillent’s business partner of choice for this warranty service. Surveillent will also cover the shipping costs back to you during this warranty period. This is only applicable for warranty related issues and not for mis-ordered or no longer needed reasons. Any returns for any other reason will be assessed a 25% restocking fee and any previously paid shipping will not be refunded. Buyer will also have to pay to have the item shipped back to us for credit and any previous shipping and eBay listing and selling fees will also not be refunded. Any refund due to to the buyer will be refunded once the returned item has been received and verified to be in original resale condition with all materials, documentation and software if applicable in resale condition.
Payment
Surveillent prefers Paypal and Paypal accepts all major credit cards. We will also accept your corporate or personal check. Surveillent also accepts direct credit card payments by phone at (612) 275-1401 and bank (wire) transfers. Wire transfers and checks can take 4-6 days to clear our bank and we cannot ship your order until they do.

Q. Does Surveillent charge for its technical support?
A. Surveillent’s value is that we “provide more than just parts”. Our pre-sales and post-sales technical support comes free when you purchase your product from Surveillent. Our sales and technical support staff knows the products we offer inside and out and we back up what we sell with help when you need it. This is the Surveillent difference and it is 100% free. We have a very loyal customer base with a significant number of repeat buyers.
Q. Are Surveillent’s product priced competitively?
A. Our goal is the have the most visible brands at the lowest prices. Period. Believe it or now, Surveillent staff members review all of the current listed products prices on a daily basis to ensure we are the lowest. With hundreds of products currently offered, we might not always be the lowest and therefore we cannot guarantee it. However, if you see the same exact brand new product being offered for less on e-Bay, Yahoo and Amazon, we want to know about it and fast. Please visit our “Contact Us” webpage and send us an e-mail if you find it elsewhere for less. We want you to buy it from us and we will do what we can to earn your business.
Q. Will Surveillent sell its products to new eBay members?
A. Surveillent understands that everyone has to start from somewhere in order to establish an online history. Although we prefer selling to buyers with a previously established feedback history, we understand that it all starts with the first transaction and we would be proud to be your first.
Q. When can I pay for my Surveillent purchase?
A. For the most part, the process is automated and eBay will send you an official request for payment within minutes after the close of the auction. Simply pay for your purchase right away and your product will ship right away. Please visit our “Payments” page for more detailed information.
Q. Will Surveillent sell to me if I have negative feedbacks?
A. The purpose for feedbacks is to help sellers and buyers understand the integrity of the community in which they might be dealing with. It is the community who decides who is a great seller or buyer and who falls short of being great. Surveillent understands that people make mistakes and errors happen. We review our buyer’s feedback just like our buyers review our seller feedback. Although all buyers’ feedback is reviewed, receiving a buyer’s qualified payment as outlined on our “Payments” page allows us to ship your item. At this time, we do not believe in requiring a minimum “feedback qualification” and we accept all buyers.
Q. Will Surveillent accept my personal or corporate check?
A. Surveillent does accept personal and corporate checks directly mailed to us or when used at Paypal but your product will not ship until your check clears our bank. These checks take time to clear and this will delay your purchase from shipping. This is a strict policy and one that will not have exceptions.
Q. What if I want to order two or more of the same item?
A. In many cases, our listings will state that we have a number of the same item for sale. If not, please use the “contact seller” link to send us an e-mail and we will reply promptly.
Q. If I buy two or more of the same item, will Surveillent save me the extra shipping?
A. Surveillent wants your purchase experience to be one positive and we will do all we can to make you satisfied and keep you coming back to Surveillent. Please e-mail us with your inquiry and we will do what we can. We commonly offer “system” discounts.
Q. Are the Surveillent products covered under warranty?
A. All of the brand new products the Surveillent sells come with the manufacturer’s warranty, up to one full year, whichever is less. Please review our “Warranty” page for more details.
Q. What types of payments does Surveillent accept?
A. Surveillent accepts and prefers Paypal and even if you do not have a Paypal account, you can still use Paypal to pay for your purchase with your credit card and your checking account. We also gladly accept your corporate and personal checks, money orders and cashier or certified checks. Please refer to our “Payments” page for additional methods of payment accepted.
Q. How do I return a defective product during its warranty period?
A. Surveillent stands behind all of its new products during the published manufactures warranty period, up to one full year, whichever is less. If your product becomes defective during this time, please contact Surveillent and we will help you though this process.
Q. Will my Surveillent purchases be taxed?

Q. How can I check on the status of my order?
A. Once we receive your payment and it has cleared, your item will ship. When it ships, we send you an e-mail. This e-mail will contain the shippers tracking number for your reference. Please refer to our “Shipping” page for more details.
Q. Is shipping and Handling included in my purchase price?
A. Surveillent’s listings always list the fixed shipping price separately so you know this price before you purchase your product. Due to our regional distribution centers, our shipping prices are very fair and in many cases, are much lower than our competition on the same identical product. As stated earlier, contact us for special shipping discounts when you buy “systems” or higher volumes.
Q. What happens if I fail to pay for my purchase in a timely manner?
A. Surveillent understands that people take vacations or our out of town for extended periods of time. We even understand that people forget as well. Should Surveillent fail to receive your payment, your product will not ship. If your payment will be delayed, you should contact Surveillent via e-mail. If we do not receive an e-mail of your payment delay, we may need to leave negative feedback for you in order to protect the shopping communities in which we offer our products and service on. |
