As stated in my listings, I will only charge actual shipping including Delivery Confirmation. I discovered when I printed my first shipping label that Delivery Confirmation was only $0.13 (thirteen cents!) when you printed your label through Paypal (or now with Click-n-Ship at USPS.com). You get a break when you purchase postage electronically, so my savings is your savings. BTW, it’s $0.19 (nineteen cents) now, and $0.80? at the post office. Huge savings!
Important Note: Sorry, but I no longer ship outside the U.S.! Canadian buyers, please contact me prior to bidding as I will consider shipping Priority Mail to Canada on a case-by-case basis, but it is really expensive now.
Specific Shipping Info:
USPS First Class: Anything weighing under 13 oz is eligible for First Class. Item(s) will be mailed in a tough, weather-resistant, lightweight (lighter than paper) TyvekÓ envelope.
USPS Priority Mail: Anything at/over 13 oz will be mailed Priority unless Parcel Post is an option (see below). As long as everything purchased can fit in the $10.35 Flat Rate box, then $10.35 (Delivery Confirmation is FREE through Paypal for Priority Mail) is the most you will be charged for shipping. A lot can be stuffed into that box! USPS has also just added a Large Flat Rate box for $13.95 and a (VHS tape sized) Small Flat Rate box for 4.80!
USPS Parcel Post: If Parcel Post is a price saving option, I will list it. It really only saves money when the items are a little heavier (like shoes or large lots). For most clothing items, it is not a significant difference. If you purchase items and Parcel Post was not an option listed, but you feel it will be a savings, just ask.
Insurance: I do not require that you purchase insurance. However, I highly recommend it. I cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in the mail. I charge only what USPS charges, nothing more. Insurance only covers the purchase price of the items; it does not include shipping charges—USPS rules, not mine.

I can be silent no more, and this is the section where I am going to "whine." If you do not want to hear my grumbling, please skip this last section.
My TOP eBay Peeves are:
Overpriced Shipping
Sellers, if you state a flat rate shipping in your listings that is, say $4.99 (because this seems to be a popular one these days), and you take a week (or more than a few days) to actually mail the package, then use PRIORITY MAIL. USPS gives you the supplies for free--Give me a break!
And on that same note... $4.99 shipping for a single shirt, and it is not being sent Priority?! I know: listing fees, Paypal fees, time, packaging, gas, blah, blah, blah. Whatever! Let's say I paid $0.99 for a shirt because you wanted to attract buyers with a low starting bid, but you charge $4.99 for shipping to cover your "costs". What happens if I do not receive my item or it is damaged/incorrect/etc? I am only entitled to receive a refund for the cost of the item which is only $0.99. So, I would be out $4.99 for something I did not receive. Does that seem fair? Uh, no!
Plus many of the same sellers make you pay the shipping to send the defective/incorrect item back to them. That original $4.99 could have covered the cost of shipping in the Flat Rate $4.60 envelope WITH delivery confimation which means the package is delivered quickly and handled more gently by the USPS. Remember, delivery confirmation is FREE with Priority Mail if you print your label through Paypal or USPS online, and the supplies are free (which you can order online), and you can have the package picked up at your door in most areas. FREE!
I could go on and on about shipping, so let's move forward.
Misleading Descriptions
Just describe the item accurately! It's human to miss something, it's dishonest not to mention obvious flaws.
Ralph Lauren/Polo Brand
Ralph Lauren is Ralph Lauren.
Polo Sport is Ralph Lauren.
US Polo Assn IS NOT Ralph Lauren!!! It's an entirely different brand!
Chaps IS NOT Ralph Lauren!!! Ralph Lauren has not manufactured the Chaps brand in at least 10-15 years!
New Feedback Rules
I recently got an underserved negative (now neutral) feedback from a buyer who does not seem to speak english all that well (from our communication). He bought a pair of my child's shoes, and expected them to be men's shoes. There were clearly listed as children's shoes! I offered to take the shoes back and pay for shipping one way. If the mistake had been mine, I would have paid for shipping both ways. Since I did nothing wrong, I thought I was being more than fair, generous even. The next thing I know, he has left negative feedback! You tell me, was there more I was supposed to do?
And there is nothing I can do about it! Ridiculous!
