Thank you for stopping by our eBay store and taking the time to view our about me page.   Our names are  Scott and Vanessa Solveson.   We have an eclectic variety of Collectibles, thus the name: SVS Collectibles (I know, not very original). 

We started out as buyers on eBay several years ago and now that we are sellers, it has turned into a fulltime job for me and a part time job for Scott, and we both really enjoy it.  

We are located in Cheektowaga, New York, which is a suburb of Buffalo.  We purchase the items we sell from a lot of different places and different states (mainly New York, but items also come from Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois and Texas.)  The store has over 1,400 listings at this time and I add different items each week so that there are always new "vintage" things to look at.  Scott and I go to auctions and estate sales almost every week.   We also haunt re-sale shops and thrift stores.  Some weeks we find an enormous amount of great items and some weeks only a few.  It is always fun to look though.

We strive to describe our items accurately.  Both Scott and I put a lot of thought and time into our eBay store and the items we sell.  I do this full time and Scott helps whenever he has time.  I do the photos (so I get credit for all the camera glare) and listing, but Scott and I both do the purchasing, cleaning, packing and inventory upkeep.  

We pack the items we sell very carefully.  All breakable items are wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in packing peanuts.    All packages are shipped with either a confirmation number or tracking number.  We do our best to see that your items arrive to you in the condition you purchased them.
