Although I have a Degree in Clothing Textiles and Design, I chose to work in the retail industry obtaining a Management position for Filene's Dept store. After getting married and relocating up here to New Hampshire, I fell into the jewelry business.
Eighteen years later, I am still happily married to a wonderful supportive husband and we have been blessed with three beautiful children Paul age thirteen, Natalie age ten, and Sofia who is two and a half years old...I am still selling diamonds on the weekends, but even with all the excitement of loose diamonds, engagement rings, rubies, sapphires, ect....It just was not fulfilling my passion.
Upon receiving endless compliments on clothing I made for my daughter (Where did you find that??? Who is the designer of that???), I decided to make more outfits for other people to enjoy on their Sweet Cherubs...( My co-workers, friends, family and neighbors have been keeping me very busy).
Ebay has allowed me to design, create, and sell children's clothing and accessories and still be at home to watch my Sweet Cherubs grow up. Once they have grown I plan to have my own boutique online store.... But ebay is great for now.
I've been sewing for years and learned most of my skills from my mother as she sewed from the home making clothing, slipcovers, and drapes. I never thought I would fall in her steps but as they say,..... "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree". In my case this certainly holds true....
Thank you again for stopping by and realizing that customer satisfaction is the key to a successful business. My objective is to make all of my customers completely thrilled with their purchases. This will be my tenth year selling on ebay and it has been wonderful. When I first started selling there were only a few others taking advantage of this opportunity to use their talents, and now it has just taken off...
Its a great thing to see that sewing is not a lost art as it seems to be up here in the New England area. A BIG thank you to all my customer and ALL THE BEST to my fellow sewing ladies........Lynn
