How Sweet Katherine's Closet Began:

My husband Ken and I celebrated the arrival of our first little girl Katie-Marie in May of 2008. In the hormonally unbalanced and sleep deprived days of insanity following her birth, I declared to myself "My princess will have only the best, brightest, and of course *newest* things to be had!"
Then the hormones leveled out, she started sleeping more than 2 hours at a time and I began to regain a little bit of my sanity. I stood looking at her closet one morning, and realized that at only a few months old, she had more clothing than I did. So much clothing that there were many outfits that she wore only once, or not even at all. She grew so quickly that I would put my favorite outfit on her one day, and then a week later I couldn't get the snaps closed! It was then that I realized there had to be a better way to clothe our little princess, without breaking our budget.

A few months (and a lot of sleepless nights) later, I came up with idea of offering new & like-new clothing for children at prices that real people can afford. With the support of my husband and the help of the new "Nana", our dream became a reality with the grand opening of Sweet Katherine's Closet. We hope that you enjoy your purchases just as much as we enjoyed picking them out for you.

Of course we have to tell the whole world about what a perfect, wonderful, sweet, happy, adorable, precious little angel we have. Oh, did we mention that she is perfect? Happy first birthday Punkin'!
