My friend Mary at 93 years of age!

| My friend is 94 and still going strong! We have been listing family items some dating back to late 1800's. Marys family (both mother and fathers side) dates back to the Mayflower. They were a well educated family with many interests.There is quite a variety of items I will continue to list from my friend.
Thanks again to all of you. You make this Ebay thing fun and interesting!
We still have toy cars to list. I took quite a break from it as other items have taken center stage (due to size). I have been looking at these neat cars again and should start soon in the listing of "the vehicles"!

| This is our cat. He is quite a neat fellow. I had two cats for several years throughout college and early marriage. When they passed away I vowed not to have another cat. That vow ended with a cat named Arlo who desperately needed a home. He was a bully and was quite "distant". I think he had not been treated with loving kindness at his last home, and he was NOT to be fooled again! After much persistence from our youngest, and from our dog, Arlo started to turn around. Last year was a real turning point for Arlo when he suffered from the male urinary tract crystal syndrome. He was is such pain. We took him in to the emergency vet, they treated with surgery and stayed for 2 days at the pet hospital. We visited him daily and was so glad to bring him home. One day, shortly after his return home, my family was watching a movie together. Arlo came into our living room jumped up on each one of us (one at a time), curled up on our chest, purred, and walked over to the next family member to do the same. Arlo, then walked over to our dog, sat down next to her and purred. I believe he was thanking us. He has fully become our cat now...and we, his people. |
