Started collecting when I was 15 years old (I'm now 53) and had just been taken to my first antique show in Gaithersburg, MD...I've been hooked ever since! There is something special about items that have a history...I have become a real Victorian nut over the years and especially like the Eastlake style...I'm also a clock and pocket watch nut and have a house full of them. My mom and I started collecting Goofus Glass back when you never paid more than $15.00 for ANY piece and she had given me her collection and I continued to collect it until I ran out of display room. I also collect Satsuma Moriage pieces, mostly the small ones because of space constriants, and have a large collection. I really enjoy collecting and ebay has provided me with a great passtime. I also collect antique smoking pipes, Noritake Azalea China, King, Son & Co. Banded Star pattern Glass, & Victorian Silver plated aesthetic movement tea & coffee pots.
