I want to use this page to help ebayers know me better and feel more comfortable dealing with me and know something about my background.
My background and philosophy
I have a BS in Commercial Art and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and graduate work in Sculpture. I worked for the great racing genius, Mickey Thompson in the mid-60s, had a guitar repair facility in Houston in the early 70s, started the guitar program at Peavey Electronics. At Peavey, I designed the instruments and fixturing, hired and trained the employees, and ran the program for seven years starting 1975. I next was Director of R&D for Fender, Rogers drums, Rhodes pianos, and Squire strings in the early 80s, was consultant for Schector guitars, and later designed high-speed automated machines and x-ray fluorescent analyzers in Austin, Texas.
I am a gunsmith of 30 years and the Associate Editor of The American Gunsmith magazine, teach gunsmithing, and build blown alcohol Big Block Chevy engines. I have a machine shop, guitar shop, and do electroplating and powder-coating.
My good reputation is most important to me, so maintaining it is foremost in all trading ventures. I will do what I say I will do and go to any length to maintain good relations with ebayers and customers. I can be reached at: (512) 259-9759 with questions about items for sale.
