Hi, my name is Christina, but I go by Tina or just plain "T".
I have been happily married for several years now. Although I wanted children I wasn't able to have any.
The way my life played out through the years, it never seem to present a good time to seek possible adoption. I still love children very much, but now I am much older and I've become accustomed to a freer lifestyle.
As for my ancestry, I'm afraid I know very little. I know I am of Irish, Native American (Cherokee), & Italian descent. I don't know which Cherokee tribe though. I do know my great grandparents (on my mother's side), came to America from Dublin Ireland. It would be great, I think, to go there one day in hopes of finding a distant relative(s) of some sort.
I love taking long walks in the woods, and enjoy fishing as well. (Especially with my wonderful husband and our dog - whom we call our hairy daughter).
I enjoy listening to different types of music (depending on my mood). But mostly I listen to New Age music. Artist such as Liquid Mind, Kitaro, Anahata, Constance Demby, John Serrie, Llewellyn, 2002 (just to name a few).
I enjoy reading Dark Romance books - especially Vampire ones (which seem to be the latest craze), as well as writing for fun and relaxation. I have written a few poems (some which are found on my Yahoo 360° Blog page).
Several years ago, just for fun, I wrote a short Vampire Romance story called Immortal Kiss. I just sort of threw it together so I guess it's more of a rough draft as I had no idea that so many other ideas would spring from it.
So one day I decided to take my short story and rewrite an extended version of it and changed the name to Immortal Embrace.
It's slow going as it's quite a bit of work figuring out the plot, working on the personalities of all the characters as well as where to fit all the information so that the story flows. I don't know how those authors out there do it in a specific time frame.
No matter. I've no delusions of publication, as I am aware I somewhat lack professional journalism - I enjoy writing nonetheless. I therefore have the luxury of taking my time with writing my story. For anyone curious, a few excerpts from my story . . . Immortal Embrace, can be found on my Yahoo 360° Blog (address found below).
