Hi! I've been in the record busines for 20 years. I have done record shows, record mail order auctions and I dabble in collectables from time to time too. I, like many other collectors have learned from people that have been in this business for 20 and 30 years or more. It's the thrill of the hunt and a bigger thrill when you can find that piece that's worth alot money and get big money for it. Some people say this is addiction, but for me it is a way of life. I don't only do this for money but for the love and sheer enjoyment and probably will do this for the rest of my life. Thanks to all of you, the customers, that have built my business thus far and for the future customers. I do appreciate the business. Happy hunting! Tim Abrams

Just a note on 78 rpm records : Unlike 45 rpm and LP's, 78 rpm records play like iron, even in "G" Condition. I believe that the artists/group/bands & there music should be preserved, even if the record is in "G" Conditon. 78 rpm records are a great part of the history of music in the last century and I think they will always be valuable. As the world will see, my auctions will always include 78 rpm records.
I do under grade my records for the simple reason that there is many record collectors, me included who strickley grade there records not only for visual quality but for playing quality too. I do play most of my records for sound quality because many buyers have emailed me about this. It goes without saying looks can be deceiving.
How My Records Packaged
I use custom made record mailers much the same as the one you would purchase from a factory. All Lp records are shipped with the record removed from the jacket and place on top of the record jacket to insure no damage is done to the record or sleeve. 45 rpm picture sleeves are done in the same fashion.
For those of you looking for a safe method to ship 78 rpm records, here is my method - I use this method - Take a 12" square piece of cardboard and cut a circle out the same size as a 78. Place the 78 in the circular cut out and sandwich it in between 3 to 4 pieces of cardboard or you can use 1" or 2" styrofome. Then place it in a regular record mailer. I have used and been successful with this method other methods also. So use what ever works for you. Thanks for your interest!
