Today married 2 boys, 1 child passed. I go treasure
hunting just about every Friday, then at some point in the week
clean up and polish what I find and offer it here to you fine
folks. eBay is a really weird world, one at times I find hard to
fit in, of course I find it hard to fit into the hither world
as well. One of the things about ebay I find hard to deal with
is the feedback system. A seller depends on
feedback to keep the eBay baal's happy, but sometimes you have
a buyer who thinks feedback is a chance at revenge to eBay.
Just think if one buyer out of 10 gives a bad star rating to a
seller, that seller is toast. More on that later. I keep a
blog in which I post local happenings and interesting tidbits,
to me anyway. You are welcome to drop in and read it anytime.

Help all your favorite sellers to continue
offering products on eBay. Many eBay sellers including myself
are not big Company’s, we are just people trying to sell items
fairly at a fair price for extra income. If you've had a good
transaction with any seller, please when leaving feedback
consider giving them 5-stars in the areas where they have
met/exceeded standards. This way good sellers
will be able to keep offering you quality service &
products. Anything less than a 5-stars
in any of the 4 categories negatively impacts your seller.
Only 5-stars
in all areas are acceptable ratings to eBay & won't
subject the seller to sanctions & low search standings
(costing buyers more ultimately).Giving a 4-star tells eBay the seller is
bad, if any seller receives an average of 4 stars in a category eBay will
suspended them. When you purchase from a small eBay seller of
unique items the stars can make or break them being able to
continue selling. When you buy a Free S&H listing, most
think they should give the 3-star for S&H, but this is
very bad for the seller. Again 5-stars
is all that is acceptable to eBay. As always contact any
seller before leaving a low star rating or a not positive
feedback. I enjoy what I do, & it has always been my goal
to provide excellent value, great customer service, & fast
communication. Thank you for taking the time to read this, I

A word about my policies
SHIPPING: Effective 06-25-09 all shipping will be
done by flat rate Priority Mail. 1 of 4 different size flat
rate boxes will be used.

1) 12.5 x 9.5 Flat Rate Envelope will cost $4.80; this
is a FIXED Flat rate by the Post Office. The Item will arrive
in 2-3 days.

2) 5-3/8 x 8-5/8 x 1-5/8 Flat Rate Box will cost $4.95;
this is a FIXED Flat rate by the Post Office. The Item will
arrive in 2-3 days.
·
3) 11 X 8.5 X 5.5 Flat Rate Box will cost $10.35; this
is a FIXED Flat rate by the Post Office. The Item will arrive
in 2-3 days.
·
4) 12 x 12 x 5-1/2 Flat Rate Box will cost $13.95; this
is a FIXED Flat rate by the Post Office. The item will arrive
in 2-3 days.
In
addition to the above all items will be insured. There is also
a processing/Handling fee for all shipments regardless of the
item. These are the total amount of shipping and handling

Shipping FAQ

Some may wonder if sellers can charge a handling fee.
From the eBay selling FAQ page I post the
following…
“When listing an item using eBay’s shipping calculator,
or specifying a shipping cost in categories for which eBay
does not set maximum shipping and handling charges, sellers
may charge reasonable shipping and handling fees to cover the
costs of mailing, packaging, and handling. eBay will rely on
member reports and its own discretion to determine whether or
not a seller’s shipping, handling, packaging, and/or insurance
charges are excessive. Shipping and handling fees may not be
listed as a percentage of the final sale
price.
Shipping and handling charges may
include:

Actual
Shipping cost:
This is the actual cost paid to the carrier (i.e. postage) for
shipping the item.

Handling
Fee: Actual
packaging material costs may be charged. A handling fee in
addition to actual shipping cost may be charged if it is not
excessive.

Can
I choose to have my item shipped Parcel Post?
Yes, but you MUST e-mail BEFORE making payment so the
final cost can be re-totaled and a new invoice sent to you.
Once you have the new invoice with the lower shipping rate
then payment is expected. HOWEVER, if you choose a cheaper
shipping rate it also means that it will take longer for the
item to arrive, you thereby agree to at least a 14 day wait
for the item to arrive. In thus you agree to leave a Star of 5
for shipping and shipping cost since it was your choice to
make. Leaving a lower or negative comment about shipping would
be unethical since the choice to delay shipping in exchange
for cheaper cost was yours to
make.

What
if my item cannot fit into one of the above
boxes?
A larger box will then be used. And depending on the
size and weight of the box I will decided how to ship and post
the change in the auction. However if the buyer wishes he may
change the method of this shipment as well by e-mailing me
before making payment.

Will my item be here in 2-3
days?
I try to mail by U.S.P.S
Priority Mail to insure that your item arrives in a timely
manner. Please understand Priority Mail is
generally a 2 or 3 day delivery service though it is not
guaranteed so can at times take longer. Priority Mail also
cannot have tracking added, It can only have Delivery
confirmation/DC added to it, (DC is where the scan is
done at delivery) in most cases it will not be updated
& scanned until after it is delivered to you. Some
Priority packages can get intermediate scans (acceptance,
processing, arriving) along the way & might show some
updates while in-route, but others will not. Priority mail
does however keep moving and does not sit still, so a package
mailed on a Sat has a chance to be delivered on a Monday. It
does cost more than other classes of mail, but Priority Mail
is the fastest, safest & ultimately cost saving class of
mail for all items.
RETURNS:
I
test electronic items I list, non electronic items (Jewelry,
etc) are described in detail explaining any defects, and
photos are taken to give an idea of the item. What is shown
& what is detailed is as exact of a description that can
be given, therefore most of my items have a non-return policy.
Basically I feel that if you bid on the item and I am honest
in the listing then you are aware of what you are bidding on.
On some items however I do offer a return, this may be due to
the uncertainty of the item itself (Processors, etc) and the
return time is 5 DAYS from the time it arrives. I do not offer
returns on items that have any signs of tampering. When an
item is returned it will be inspected and the chain of
inspection will be documented, if tampering is found no return
is granted and the item is returned to you. A notarized
document in the field of the return must be with the return
noting that it is bad & if no signs of tampering is
evident then a refund is granted. No return shipping cost will
be refunded and if a return of purchase cost is granted no
refund on shipping/handling will be given. The actual cost of
the item only will be refunded.
Delivery:
On every item I ship I require that when the item is
shipped it must be insured. This is to protect the customer.
By getting that insurance, if the item is lost or damaged in
transit then it gives buyer protection. This way the
customer’s money is protected. You work very hard for your
money and when something is lost or damaged in the mail you
have lost some money and need it back. By having it insured
you have the chance to get your money back. The fee for the
insurance is included in every auction I list so please if
there is ever a question about the cost of shipping, please
e-mail me.
Delivery FAQ

Do I have to buy insurance? For my auctions the answer is yes. It protects you and
me and offers a way to recover a loss to you in the event one
happens. eBays official word on the matter is as
follows… Insurance: Sellers may offer
buyers insurance and extra services provided through the
carrier at actual cost. These services include, but are not
limited to: Certificate of Mailing, Certified Mail, Collect on
Delivery, Delivery Confirmation, Insured Mail, Registered
Mail, Restricted Delivery, Return Receipt, Signature
Confirmation and Special Handling.”
Payment: PAYPAL
ONLY; please do not e-mail me asking if I will accept a m/o or
other means of payment. Please read and apply all of the
policies eBay has in place. DO NOT PLACE A BID IF YOU DO NOT
HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT. Payment is expected at the close of the
auction. However if because of your payday, or other issues I
do allow up to 7 days from the close of the auction for
payment to be made.
