I'm finally updating my ME page! Not that much has changed, I was getting lazy & only updating this page to add another year to the kids' ages. I've actually learned that people read the "about me" pages, which should come as no surprise as I read them all the time. I'm actually bummed out when they're all business & no personality. Another great Ebay read (you know when we should be listing OR shopping) are the message boards, lots of funny people with great knowledge about ANYTHING, my personal favorite is the clothing/accessories board. I've been thinking lately that the fun of Ebay seems like it should be wearing off after all these years... it's not, I'm still as addicted as I was when I sold my first thing. I still get up, get a cup of coffee - run to the computer to see if there are bids or store sales. So it's a bit like Christmas morning every day... like I'm 7 years old all over again (sad!) I (well... we, my husband & I, but he's not computer literate) have two kids - Haley's 16 now & DRIVING. That is so scary - I know she's careful it's just all the other people out there who aren't. She's still showing horses, she has two now & Drew, who's 12 tried the horse thing this last year, hated it. Now he's trying wrestling. I'm happy when my kids try new things. Nothing else is really new this year, which to me is a great thing. If time stood still at this moment, I'd be a happy lady. Personal rambling is now complete... for now. *~**~*~*~*~*~**~**~**~*~*~* IF you came here to find out about the items I sell this is where you want to start reading. I generally sell CLOTHING but have & will continue to venture out from time to time with other things. 85% of what I sell is used but I try to be very picky & am honest about the condition. If there is ever a time you are not satisfied, it's not that I wasn't being honest, I simply overlooked it. I don't have anyone working for me - I do this by myself - so IF something's wrong, I hope you get ahold of me as I'm human, just toss an email my way before you leave any nasty feedback and we'll figure out a solution that makes us both happy. I'm not mean, you shouldn't be either. =) I can not 100% guarantee that items are from pet or smoke free homes (it's not allowed in the building I do my ebay work). Like I said, most of my items are used but I will say if an item is machine washable, it will be washed before packaging on my end. However, if an item is dry clean only or new with tags it's up to the buyer to take care of the initial cleaning. I love to ship PRIORITY from the USPS. It rocks & I'll tell you why - as a seller, I can ship my labels online for free (regular labels cost 20 cents, what's up with that?) - PLUS you as a buyer get a follow up email from the USPS with tracking/confirmation # information with no additional cost to either of us. I do take actual postage & add a small handling fee (usually around $1.00) this is for listing fees, paypal fees, gas to the post office, supplies, etc. I've started also offering (mostly on items under a 1#) first class mail to save you money. Combined shipping charges ~ here's how it works for me, I LOVE to fill up the flat rate priority box for $9.30. I don't do the "each item add $2 per item" - if it fits, it ships for the one price with no handling, etc. Please let me know when you are all finished shopping & just request an invoice - don't pay until you are all done -- so shop away! Also, I want to throw this deal out there, they now have a large flat rate priority box, FILL IT UP! I'm going to charge a flat rate whatever fits in that box $10 - (I'll eat the addition couple of bucks). I ship out 99% of the time DAILY, sometimes twice a day. I'm anal about getting items out fast! Here's how I look at it (when I'm a buyer) I see, I bid, I win, I paid, I WANT! Who wants shipping so slow that by the time ya get it, you forgot what you had ordered! Okay - one more thing, and this goes for ALL sellers out there. Upcoming feedback changes have some sellers very nervous as we won't be able to leave negative feedback for bad buyers. I know retalitory feedback has been a problem for years - I have worked hard for great feedback, I know my negative is eventually coming. I really hope that buyers don't jump the gun & leave nasty feedback without giving all sellers a chance to rectify the situation. Also, Ebay doesn't make it super clear when people leave the star ratings how much they actually can help or hurt a seller. I strive for ALL 5 STARS in all the areas. When people leave 3 or 4 stars (which Ebay claims is good/satisfied)... truth be known, it lowers the ratings for sellers & hurts us. If you are truly happy with your purchase, please leave sellers the full stars. =) We appreciate it! I list often ... start shoppin'.
