Thank you for visiting my Ebay store Gemerocity for Retts. I started this store a few years back so I could stay at home and take care of my daughter who has Retts Syndrome and make some spending money at the same time, now it has turned into a whole other wonderful beast!
Gemerocity for Retts raises funds for The International Retts Syndrome Association (www.rettssyndrome.com) which you will see a percentage of your purchase being taken right out by Ebay. Another part, which I manually donate a percentage to goes to The Autism Research Institute (www.autism.com) which has been doing research for more than 40 years.
I have quite an assortment of items which I find or I buy and no longer want or I find on good sales and resell them here on Ebay. I sell only the finest, high quality merchandise that I would want in my home. I take pride in my business and hold a 100% positive feedback after doing business on Ebay for over 4 years.
If you have any questions about Rett Syndrome or Autism please visit the sites I have named above. Retts affects 1:5,000 female births so it quite rare, however, Autism is not so lucky, Autism occurs in 1:156 births in the US alone. They have found the gene for Rett Syndrome and they believe this may lead to finding the gene for autism since Retts is under the Autism umbrella.We can only hope! If the scientists and doctors can find the cause and the gene for Autism, then we can find a cure!
