I have been a huge sports fan from a young age, and growing up in southern California I got to root for some great teams over those years, especially the great Laker teams with West, Baylor, Wilt etc. etc.  My Mom still talks about dropping me off to see the Dodgers play the Giants by myself at Candlestick Park when I was about 12 years old. 		 

To rank my sports preferences I would probably put college football first, NBA basketball second, and NHL hockey (back in the good old days before they got greedy too !!!) third.  In the late 1980s we had a large scale mail order business featuring hockey cards, and Gretzky was playing for the Kings at that time also.  I have been collecting personally since I was very young, and can't blame my Mom for throwing out shoeboxes full of 1950s and 1960s baseball cards of Mantle, Mays, Snider, Aaron etc. etc. - I sold them myself for gas money for my car !!!

Our specialty now is vintage cards and graded cards, but we are in the process of selling off a huge inventory of all types of different items after taking ten years or so off from the sports card business.  If anyone still has an interest in Kenner Starting Lineups, we have a boat load of those, including a lot of key rookie and star pieces.
