#1 With your forefinger rotate the label carrier up and toward the handle, then with the thumb and the forefinger push the floorplate release levers ( there is one on each side) toward the handle of the labeler.
#2 Install a roll of labels on the carrier and feed about 6" through the tunnel out the bottom of the labeler, then push the label carrier down to it's rest position.
#3 Turn the labeler upside down, then lay the label strip plate ( the short one) on the label making sure the metal strip pin is even with a feed hole on the label. Then push down and this will lock the strip plate.
#4 Lay the labels over the feed roller with cog (bump) protruding through the hole in the labels. Then close the label guide plate (The long one). Then sqeeze the labeler handle two or three times and you should produce a label.,.... If you don't repeat steps 3 and 4.
You are ready to go !!
