I'd like to welcome you to my about me page! I hope you'll enjoy your
visit. I have changed the look of this page to coordinate with my web site:
Please note that I have now closed my ebay store. I will continue occasionally offering pieces in auction, but most of my work will no longer be offered on ebay. For information about my latest works as well as advanced notice of when pieces will be offered in auction, you can also visit my blog.
About me
I'm an artist, and the artwork that I am posting for sale on ebay has been created by me. I began doing art full time in 1992, exhibiting my work at shows and galleries in the central midwestern states and Ontario. My work has received several awards, and now appears in collections across 40 states in the US, as well as Canada, Europe and the UK.
Why is my work online? Many professional artists, myself included, show and sell our work in a variety of venues including public and private galleries, community art exhibitions, and regional art fairs. Selling online provides an alternative venue, where the customer can deal directly with the artist rather than a middleman, and allows artists to interact with customers regardless of geographic distance from their studio or galleries.
About my work: I create both sculptures and paintings, in a variety of styles. All of my paintings and sculptures are originals created entirely by me, not by any helpers or staff. Please remember when viewing images of my work here on ebay that the actual works are much
more detailed than the format for placing them on the web allows, and color
variations will occur when viewed on different systems. The
artwork represented here is covered under copyright; as such, all images
of my artwork are the property of Teresa M.
Turner, and may not be reproduced in any form without written consent of
the artist.
My paintings are done in acrylics, oils, watercolors or gouache, on a variety of traditional supports, including stretched canvas, paper, masonite, or gessoed wood panels. I work in a variety of styles, including impressionism, abstract, and realism. My work has been influenced by the works of Monet, van Gogh, Turner, Georgia Okeefe, and other historical works now found in museums around the world. Favorite subjects in my representational works include landscapes, floral and wildlife subjects, pets, and ancient architecture. Although I enjoy creating representational paintings, I also enjoy doing abstracts. Abstract paintings provide the artist with an unlimited means of artistic expression. I always use only the highest quality professional materials in my work.

Other important stuff regarding my Ebay transactions:
*I DO NOT CHARGE ANY HANDLING FEES in my auctions. The rate I charge is the rate provided on the USPS web site.
*I believe communication between buyer and seller is important. As the seller, I will let you know when I have received your payment, and also when your item has been shipped. I will ship your item promptly (usually the next business day). I will also follow up with you afterwards to make sure everything is ok. As a buyer, I will pay promptly and will let you know when I receive the item I have purchased.
*Non-paying bidders will be blocked from bidding on future auctions. Bidders with a high amount of negative feedback may have their bids cancelled and be blocked from future bidding.
