I try to charge reasonable S&H fees. However, postage rates increase again on May 12th, and I have to factor in my costs for packaging materials - envelopes, tape, printer ink, paper, bubble wrap, etc. - my time and gas. I am located in AZ, so if the buyer lives in, say, NY, Priority Mail postage is going to be significantly higher than it would be for someone living in CA. Keep in mind that Ebay charges me about 12% of each store purchase on top of the listing and store fees, and then Paypal charges additional fees for payments received. This means that for a $20 purchase, I pay well over $3 to Ebay and Paypal, not including my costs for packing materials, etc. Sometimes buyers don't realize that sellers are charged as much as they are for selling items on Ebay, and they believe that I am being greedy. This is not the case at all - it is just challenging to balance the fees with the selling and S&H prices without losing money. I try to keep my prices and S&H fees low.
