I'm so excited to be selling my lampwork beads and jewelry on E-Bay. I've always been involved in creating some kind of art...drawing, ceramics, painting, and needlework. More recently, I've been working on creating black and white and hand-colored portraits.

Knitting is what brought me to lampwork. I had knitted and felted a purse and was looking for green glass beads to decorate the purse. This is when I first found lampwork. The only beads I was able to find in the local stores were the "cheap looking" beads the had been painted and the paint actually rubbed off when you touched them.

I then set out on my search to learn to make real lampwork beads and was totally hooked!! Even though I have my "day job" teaching sixth grade, I spend several hours a day at the torch. I can't wait to get home each day and get to work!! My family says that I'm obsessed!

Each bead is handmade by Teri Moore using Moretti/Effetre glass from Italy, Lauscha glass from Germany, and Vetrofond glass. All beads are annealed in a digital temperature controlled kiln for strength and durability.
