Welcome to Reader Island
Reader Island is an oasis for readers and book lovers. We carry new and
used books as well as unique gifts, home decor, antiques, collectibles and other
wonderful treasures. You never know what is going to wash up on the shores
of our island.
We started selling on eBay in January of 1999. I had just closed my
antiques and collectibles shop as well as a small equestrian shop so there was
plenty to list and eBay was young. What a wild time that was!!!
We've grown older and eBay has grown bigger and we've seen so many changes but
we're still here. Books and horses are my passion. To pay for the
expensive hobby, Reader Island was born. We sell books on-line
through eBay, Amazon, Half.com and other sites. We also have a shop that
you can personally visit in Huffman, TX. I'm not originally from Huffman,
but I am a Native Texan.

you are in the neighborhood, feel free to stop in and browse the shelves and find
out what's new in the store. If you can't stop in to visit personally and
you don't see the book you are looking for on-line, send us an email to
readerisland@yahoo.com and let us
know the title and if we have it in the store we'll quickly make it an eBay "Buy
It Now" for you to purchase.

decided to help others sell their treasures or excess inventory through eBay.
To accomplish this we became a bonded and registered eBay Consignment Drop Off
Location.
