Joe as Sam Houston

Joe is an author and has acted in seven movies, five in 2005. He mostly does characters in independent movies. He acts in movies to learn about scriptwriting from an actor's perspective. Joe's first script, "The Road to San Jacinto" was a semifinalists in Toronto's "Your Ticket to Hollywood" in March 2006. He is also an avid artist that paints in oils and acrylics for over 30 years. He has copied famous works of art from Impressionist's works to Old Dutch Master works. He illustrated both his books relating to Texas and American history. His second book "After the Republic" is coming out in February 2007. His first book "The Texas Republic" is now a hardcover edition in April 2006. He has three copyrights, and is a member of the WGAw.
Joe also acts as historical figures for schools, museums, and historical societies to help others see and learn about history. This is to let others know the historical figures as real persons that are important to know and remember. His favorite is Sam Houston, as he is most requested to act as this character, even for the Sam Houston Memorial Museum of Huntsville, Texas.
01-2007- We are presently JUST A BUYER on eBay, as I was not profitable as a seller. Most people on eBay are nice, and some are not: as my Paypal, and eBay store were hacked, and attacked SIX times in two months. So I am mostly a buyer until the hacker loses interest in me. eBay is another adventure where the sellers are just as interesting as the items they have for sale. It is fun to look at what is for sale, and it is nice to make new friends that share some of the same interests and concerns. eBay is always a great adventure.
