ACCESSING TEXASKEEPSAKES EBAY STORE
Q: I am fairly new to ebay and was wondering how do I enter your ebay store for more designs?
A: Not this page, but at the top right hand corner of any of my auction pages, you will find the link from ebay that says Visit This Seller's Ebay Store where you will see TexasKeepsakes below that. Just click on that link and it will take you to all my hundreds of invitations and note cards. SPEED UP TEXASKEEPSAKES EBAY STORE SEARCH
Q: You have many different cards and invitations in your TexasKeepsakes ebay store, is there a way to save search time for what I looking for without scrolling down through every page?
A: Yes! Once you click on my category links within any of my auction pages on the left hand side. You may click on any of those categories to browse, or to make it even quicker, there is a Store Search area directly above my store categories that you can enter key words, such as Retirement or Bridal and see only the cards and invitations for those particular themes.
NEED ANOTHER OCCASION OR DIFFERENT WORDING
Q: I want the card for another occasion than what it shows in the auction, but I like the design. Is it possible to change this with the occasion and wording that I have?
A: Yes! The card scripting is NOT preprinted, so if the particular card has, You Are Invited To A Birthday, for example, you may change it for Engagement or whatever occasion you are needing. I just use the wording that you see as just a starting place and an example. In some cases, there is that particular style already in my TexasKeepsakes ebay store of the design in this auction.
DIFFERENT FONTS
Q: I need the selected auction for an adult, rather than the selected childlike font. Is it ok to request a more scripted font?
A: Not a problem. When setting up examples, that is really what they are, examples. If you are viewing an auction that is more adult and you are needing a more childlike font, or viewing a more childlike invitation and need a more adult looking script, that is not a problem to change. Chances are when I notice the age; I will suggest that automatically for a better, more suited look. I try to select a font that is legible and appropriate to the occasion. Let us face it, there are hundreds of thousands of font styles and names and even though I have a bunch of them, no one can have all that are available. Some in fact, are very costly to purchase, or look good on one thing, but when reduced to a small area is extremely non-legible. If you have a particular ttf file that you would prefer, please send it along with your information after checkout so I do not have to spend hours searching for it. Otherwise, I will do my best to please and to select one on my own that I feel will be no problem for others to legibly view. If you notice one from another one of my auctions in my TexasKeepsakes ebay store that you would like for me to use, just tell me my other auction # or name and that can be very easily done.
HAVE MORE WORDING THAN THE AUCTION EXAMPLE SHOWS
Q: I have more wording than what the example has; it is possible to fit it all?
A: Unless you have a VERY large quantity of information, I can usually fit it nicely on the size specified in the auction. I can also, almost always, reduce the image and the font size to accommodate the extra words. If you have excess directions, etc., please email me at the link above to get a quote on a larger size. It is always best to have a larger size invitation, than to make your recipients guess with a magnifying glass, as I would not want to prepare something non-legible.
CAN I ORDER MORE INVITES/CARDS THAN THE AUCTION SHOWS
Q: I need more than one set of invitations and note cards, how can I order those?
A: If you are viewing this from an auction that is just a 7-Day auction, please use the link to my TexasKeepsakes ebay store where you will then find the same auction where you can order one or multiple sets. That auction will allow you to put in the desired number of sets to provide more quantity. If you are needing only a few more, please contact me BEFORE payment checkout to discuss the additional quantity needed.
HOW DO I SUBMIT MY INFORMATION FOR THE INVITATION/CARD TO YOU
Q: I have paid, but I did not see prompts come up to enter my party information, how do I give you the name and details?
A: There will be no prompts that will guide you through the information needed. Information can be received in two different ways.
1. After payment is submitted, please feel free to email me separately with the email address provided with your checkout invoice, or the contact buyer link at the top of the auction you purchased from.
2. You may also write the info in the paypal note section at checkout.
WILL I SEE MY INVITATION BEFORE IT IS MAILED
Q: Do you provide a proof so I can see what it looks like and will I be able to check for errors before preparation and mailing?
A: After payment and info is received I will begin preparation and send you a scanned proof to your direct email address (your paypal email address). Your proof will not be sent through an ebay message, as ebay does not allow attachments to their message system. It is vital that I have been given your current and working email address to receive this. After proof is approved &/or changes have been made, it is at that time that final printing and shipping will be processed. Understandably, I am not able to prepare your proof until payment and info is received.
HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ELECTRONIC PROOF
Q: I feel I should have received my proof by now, but have not.
A: I strive on working as quickly as possible on your order. If you have ordered in the morning or afternoon and have not received a message from me by that evening for an approximate time proof will be sent, please read the following for a possible reason.
1. Please note that no order process begins until payment has been received. No exceptions.
ON NOTE CARD ORDERS:
2. To speed up preparation and shipping process, proofs are normally NOT processed or necessary on note cards since they are a simple change. There are rare circumstances though, that I may feel it best to double check your personalization request if it is unusual or lengthy, but I'll be in touch and will let you know.
ON INVITATION ORDERS:
3. Please make certain that the email you have provided paypal (the one used) is current. It may have been sent back to me and I am waiting for you to update your contact information with me. If you need the correspondence sent to an email address other than paypal, please add the email address you prefer to use when submitting personalization information.
4. Please check your spam folder that is provided by your server. In some cases, since your proof will be an attached file, the server could detect it incorrectly as a spam attachment, this also happens frequently when a government agency or a school email address is used. I will never not contact you or not send a proof for invites or announcements, so if you have not heard from me, please let me know as quickly as possible, as this delay will also delay your processing and shipment.
5. You will receive your proof at your direct email address (the one provided to me from paypal) and not through the ebay system, as ebay does not allow attachments through their system.
6. Messages and proofs are processed Monday - Friday (and only on occasions on Saturdays, but not on Sundays). Orders are also processed on non-holidays, so please not to worry if it is a holiday, as your message and order process will begin immediately on the next business day afterwards. I will get you fixed up quickly, I promise. lol
RUSH DELIVERIES
Q: I am pressed for time on my daughter birthday invitations and need a rush process and delivery, will you be able to do this?
A: Most certainly! I am always happy to assist. Please know that I expedite each and every order to the best of my ability, but items are not pre-prepared and take time to process properly. Depending on the day of the week ordered (orders on weekends or holidays or larger quantities could be slightly longer to receive) most are prepared and shipped within 2-3 days after payment and personalization is received and proof is approved. The usual priority shipping method doesn't take but 2-3 days to receive, but please note though, that if you wish to select express/overnight shipping, it does not necessarily mean that order can be completed and shipped the next day, only that you will receive it the next day once it is shipped. Some locations are actually two days, even with express if they are a rural location (for example), but it is best to contact me if needing quickly (ASAP, my least favorite letters, haha) BEFORE order is placed so we can discuss your timeframe and the higher rates if opting for express/overnight shipping. All express orders must have the invoice shipping costs revised BEFORE order checkout is completed. Please note that especially in attempts to expedite your order, it is very important to check your email quite frequently for proof approval or any questions, as non-availability will only delay the order.
WAYS TO SPEED UP THE PROCESS
Q: Are there any tips you may have to help with my order?
A: Below you will find several tips to help save time on order process and even ways to save space on your invites.
SAVE TIME ON ORDER PROCESS:
1. Submit payment as quickly as possible. No order process begins until payment has been received, no exceptions.
2. Submit your personalization as quickly as possible and include all information needed.
3. Be available for emails and make sure I have been provided with a current and working email address.
4. Check your spam folder if you haven't received a response (or proof if ordering invites) in a reasonable amount of time.
5. Invite proofs will be sent to your direct email address, not through the ebay message system, as it does not allow attachments.
6. Make certain that the shipping address that is on paypal is your current address, as that is the address your order will be shipped to.
SAVE SPACE ON INVITES / ANNOUNCEMENTS:
7. Most parties are given within the same town that guests will be arriving from, so it saves space not to use invite space to list the city, state and zip. If that information is not necessary for directions, it saves room, as most of the time, everyone already knows what city and state the party is in.
8. As with above, local parties do not need the area code for RSVP and sometimes, every little space helps.
9. Since invites are limited for space, as well as, you don't want them having a ton of text for recipients to have to read, if needing a map for directions, it is best to enclose that on a separate piece of paper.

Q: I am looking for a specific idea that I not seeing in your TexasKeepsakes store. Do you do special requests?
A: I have new designs and themes added all the time, but if you do not see what you are looking for, I will be very happy to work with you on a specific idea. Please feel free to email me at anytime! Not a problem.
HOW DO I INCLUDE INSURANCE TO MY ORDER
Q: I like to add insurance to my orders, is that possible and what is the added cost?
A: Yes you may. Please note that I do not automatically add insurance to my orders, as 99.9 percent of my customers do not want to have the added cost included in their shipping charge, as well as, every order quantity and total vary, so, some orders would be charged too much if I did and some wouldn't have enough added. I have been very, very blessed by God that all of my thousands and thousands of orders have always reached every single customer and have always reached them safely. This is mostly because (of God, as already mentioned, lol) I ship boxed priority and also pack them well. Some customers would rather me choose a less expensive method (first class), but I only ship priority, as I believe the less time in transit, the less chance of delay or damage to an order. Please note that some locations take a little longer, but most customers receive them within 2-3 days (Mon-Sat). Please do not ask me to change to another method, as I work very hard on your order and want you to receive it quickly and in the condition I have shipped it as much as you do. Please note though, that if your postal carrier dropped your order in a lake near you, or backs over it by accident, how is that my fault? If you feel your carrier is clumsy, I would definitely recommend you to let me know so I can add it. If you would like to add insurance, please notify me BEFORE completing payment checkout so I can add it to your order. Once payment has been completed, the invoice will no longer allow me to do so (obviously).
USPS Insurance fees are as follows:
Up to $ 50.00 = $1.75 From $ 50.01 to $100.00 = $2.25
From $100.01 to $200.00 = $2.75 From $200.01 to $ 300.00 = $4.70

FEEDBACK
Q: Do you leave feedback?
A: I am always happy to return and exchange feedback and compliment excellent buyers once the transaction is complete and buyer receives their purchase, but a non-payment &/or non-email reply after auction end could result in you receiving non-glowing feedback by being reported as a non paying bidder to ebay, and nothing would sadden me more. Please do not bid if you are leaving town or won’t be available after selecting the Buy-It-Now, as I will assume the worst. |
