OK...it's now mid July and I feel like I havn't accomplished anything to my store. Economy is going down the drain; several companies at a time. So, I guess I'll do what I can.
Well! I'm grateful that I still hold the same job. No raise, no bonus but still the same job that comes with great pressure. I think I'm going nuts.
I've been making a lot of purchases on eBay for clothes that I wear to work. I've found that even with the shipping charge, it is still less expensive than the stores; namely Ann Taylor, Talbots and Chico's.
My 4 kids are growing. The oldest is now 16 and will be a Senior in HS next year. We've been looking for colleges now. Perhaps somewhere within the driving distance of Kentucky. Well...whenever Princeton decides to accept him, that would be fine too. We'll just fly.
My 5 year old boy is into being a redneck cowboy with all the twang in his talk. Lack of manners along with the stubborn attitude just make me wanting to paddle him. What I've been working with him on is asking him to repeat the words in the southern US British accent. Well! That's how I speak. He is into his brother iPod when he is not around. Next will be his cell phone, the lap top..and the list goes on and on. It's just a matter of time.
My twin girls will be 4 in September and they are different in every possible way. But they both are cute as apple pies. One is a thumb sucker and I have to remind her that she will eventually look like Nanny McPhee...she stops...for about 30 minutes and the whole cycle starts over and over.
YourEarthAndMine is a store where I will always sell everything I love and personally use. The store will consist of all of the products that I already have with the following new items to be added...soon:
Emu Oil - I took the listing down but I still have them for sale if someone is interested.
Thai Plai (Prai) Body Creme - on hold for now. I still could not find the graphic artist that I can really rely on.
Turmeric Body Creme - on hold.
Seasonings - I sold my first batch but more is on the way.
Herbal Bath Bags - I have stock but can't make time to list.
Microfiber towels - I have stock but can't make time to list.
Natural home cleaners - on hold. Pure grain alcohol is so expensive plus astronomic shipping cost. I don't think I can be cost effective on it. However I do produce and use them in my own home. The smell is wonderful.
My goal for eBay is still to become a powerseller one day but my hope is dashed because the average price of my products is about $7.00 so I have to sell beau coup of product each month in order to reach that goal. Oh Well! I'm just happy to share all of these simple things that I love with you for Your Earth And Mine and for our beautiful lives.
