Behind all that you see about us on your computer screen is a staff of knowledgeable sales people, each with their own areas of enthusiasm and expertise. If you live nearby, we hope you'll stop in and introduce yourself; in case we're new to you, here's some background on the store.

That's Entertainment owner Paul Howley has been actively involved in reading and collecting since 1959. In 1973, he began retailing comics at the early Boston comic cons. In 1976 he assisted in opening The Great Escape in Nashville, TN, and helped establish Sparkle City, then the nation's largest convention dealer, in 1978. Paul opened That's Entertainment in 1980, at a 2,000 sq.ft. location in Worcester, MA, New England's second-largest city. In 1989, he added our second location with the purchase of a comic shop in Fitchburg, MA. In 1992, That's Entertainment, bursting at the seams, made the big move--we purchased a 20,000 sq.ft. building in Worcester, and created a 10,000 sq.ft. retail and events space, the largest full-service collectibles store on the East Coast!

In the area of back-issue comic books, That's Entertainment is known throughout the Northeast for depth and breadth of stock. Other stores send us their customers for obscure and small publisher material, and dealers fill their want lists here. Our new-comic racks are impossible to show in one photo--they stretch almost 100 feet along the walls, about 800 sq.ft. of display area holding somewhere around 2500 different new releases and trade paperbacks, all genre-racked.

We've established a solid and growing reputation in the field of Sport Cards and Autographed Memorabilia....browsing our displays is like visiting a sports museum! We also carry full-lines of Magic the Gathering, Japanese Animation and Role-Playing Games. Collectors of Video Games, DVD's, Toys, Board Games, Vinyl Records, Pin-Up and Celebrity Autographs, Transformers, Star Wars and Star Trek items also will find treasures at That's Entertainment. And every so often we'll get in a collection of something we haven't dealt with before!

That's Entertainment takes pride in being a one-stop collector's paradise. Our perfect sale is when a whole extended family comes in, fans out into their own areas of interest, holds up what they've found to eachother, then meets back at the register! It's an outing all ages enjoy!

In 1997, Paul Howley and That's Entertainment were honored by the comic industry with the prestigious Will Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailer Award.

When Paul began That's Entertainment, he wanted to create a friendly Collector's Shop, with great selection, fair prices, and exceptional service. More than a quarter of a century later (whew!), we're still holding to those same values in our stores---and on the web!
