I value my eBay clientele...They help me come up new and exciting ideas. I LOVE coming up with new color combos. It doesn't matter if it is for blending roving, dying yarn or making paper for cards and scrapbooks. I love making unusual color combos work. The bonus is that I also get to work with a variety of different fibers. From the regulars like merino and corriedale wool to the exotics like cashmere, buffalo, alpaca and angora...I love them all. I learned to spin with a drop spindle about 13 years ago. I was taught by a Native American woman while working as an outfitter in the Sierras. It was great because it fit into my saddle bags and was great entertainment around the campfire (since I'm not a great singer...LOL). I lost time to spin a couple of years later but I rented a wheel from a local weaving guild a couple years ago and recaptured the fiber bug. I also enjoy making soap, candles and buttons. And I REALLY hope to be able to offer my handcrafted buttons and pottery that I fire right here in my kiln. When I'm not crafting I enjoy gardening, watching NASCAR and of course, spending time with my son. We also attend lots of antique tractor shows. We like the red ones...grass is green.
