My name is Larry Knox and I live in Garnett, KS, along with my wife, Diana and my daughter, Sarah. Garnett is a small country town in Southeast Kansas. The white house in my logo is where we live. It was in really bad shape when we bought it and we're trying to fix it up and give it a little dignity, and a place of honor in the middle of our tiny town. It used to be an old boarding house, it still has the room number plates above the doors!
I started my woodworking hobby about 20 years ago; sawing, building, sanding, you name it. "When time allowed." It was not as often as I would have liked, but due to health problems I now have as much time as I need to create these handmade crafts for you to enjoy. I learned this craft from the gentle work-worn hands of my grandfather who was an old Kansas farmer. Thank God he had patience with me. Times I'll never forget. Everything I make has his old worn hands guiding me. I also offer whimsical dolls & pillows, etc, handmade by my mother Clarice, who does such a wonderful job. Everything I offer is hand-made; some my own, some from other talented crafts people. I will always list the designers name when I can provide that information.
