I am an honest person and an honest e-Bayer. I have been an active eBay member since 1998. I have worked in Music and Electronics for over thirty years; since I was 14. I am a Certified Electronic and Computer Technician. I have made a living as a Computer Technologist, MIS, Musician, Guitar Teacher, Radio DJ, as well as a "Professional High Quality Mobile Disc Jockey" since 1979. See more about my business, the Mobile Music Machine at www.mmmdj.com.
At 13 my parents bought me a guitar and then lessons. At age 14 I was asked to instruct the very class I started with the year before. Very soon, I had more students than I could possible see. I played with a few local bands in my time. Teaching on and off when I was able.
Years ago I gave up playing guitar after, what I thought was age related troubles and arthritis. Three years ago I had Bi-Lateral Carpal Tunnel Surgery and BINGO...
I am a husband and father of 5. I Credit my beautiful wife, Tracey, with just about everything that I am now blessed with. She got me back into music and guitars after my first wife, insisted I get rid of them. I currently have 16 phenominal stringed instruments. Some rare and expensive. We also volunteer to 'Tour' throughout northern Minnesota to dozens of schools. We both enjoy showing students what guitars and music can do for them too.
One recent project brings me back to the former MXR Innovations company. I have a personal collection of now well over 200 Vintage MXR (1973-1984) pedals and rack mounted-effects. I have a few dozen Dunlop remakes and originals as well. I am planning an "On-Line - E-Book" of the History and Effects of MXR. I recently authored about 95% of the information regarding MXR on Wikipedia. The Wiki information should serve many as a guide to Buying and Selling Vintage MXR gear, whether on e-Bay or not. I found there was far more inaccurate and miss-information on the Internet and in e-Bay than accurate or correct information.
