If it's feminine or vintage or beautiful chances are I love it! I have a soft spot for a gorgeous dress and I am always looking for an incredible mix of the finest brands and styles to offer to you. I love fashions that are classic and chic and it is so much fun sourcing for you a wide variety of unusual and glamorous styles as well.
You will find incredible new, preowned and vintage items in The Dress Garden. This does not stem from the fact that I could not make up my mind what I wanted to sell in my store! Rather, I think every era has something beautiful to offer and so we strive to find the best quality, the most interesting, and simply the most beautiful items from many decades ranging from brand new to very vintage.

RATINGS SYSTEM
The following is the system we use to 'rate' our items so that you will know what to expect when purchasing from us:
- NEW: Brand new, tags may or may not still be attached
- EXCELLENT LIKE NEW: Not new, but no obvious signs of wear
- EXCELLENT: Only the faintest signs of wear if any at all
- GREAT: Faint signs of wear
- REALLY GOOD: Some signs of wear but garment still in really good useable condition
- GOOD: Signs of wear which will be pointed out in listing description
- VINTAGE: Vintage items are not new and can vary greatly in their condition. Please don't expect vintage items to be in pristine condition! We will always point out in our listings whether the vintage item is in excellent vintage condition or what signs of wear the vintage item may show.
MEASURING FOR THE PERFECT SIZING
All items are measured with the item laying flat. Take into account whether the item will stretch or not when determining whether the item will fit you. Fabric content information is always provided in each of our listings to assist you in determining proper fit. Be aware that tag sizes vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. One designer's size 6 is another designer's size 8. Please check not only tag sizes in our listings but the posted measurements as we will always provide those to assist you in determining proper fit. We measure each item as follows:
- CHEST: From underarm seam to underarm seam across front and then doubled
- WAIST: From side seam to side seam at the smallest point under chest (at waistline) and then doubled
- HIPS: From side seam to side seam under waist (approximately 8 inches down from waist) and then doubled
- LENGTH: From shoulder seam to hem
- SLEEVE LENGTH: From shoulder seam to sleeve hem
- SHOULDERS: From shoulder seam to shoulder seam across back
- RISE: From waistband to inseam
- INSEAM LENGTH: From inseam to pant hem
- FLARE: From side seam to side seam across hem and then doubled
CARING FOR YOUR ITEMS
We offer brand new items as well as the highest quality pre-owned and vintage items for sale. We do not launder or dry clean previously owned items as this would result in a much higher cost for you to purchase our items. Please note that all pre-owned items should be cleaned after purchasing and before wear as they may contain signs of previous ownership. If there are any glaring signs of wear, we will always note those in our listing descriptions; however, an item in need of cleaning is not a flawed item as all pre-owned items should be cleaned by their new owner. Likewise, an item with a loose button or fading on the interior lining of an item is not considered a flawed item. By purchasing our items, you agree to all stated terms and conditions in our listings.
