How
to bid on our auctions:
Bidding allows the establishment of a fair purchase price. If you only
want to spend $30, then taking the S/H fees into consideration your bid
would necessarily be around $23. This allows YOU the customer to set the
price of the item. Of course on Ebay, the fair market value is usually
very low in comparison to most retail outlets, and customers receive the
maximum savings available. At Advance Computer, the customer is the key
to business success, and we take pride in providing the maximum in service.
Shipping
and handling charges:
Several of our
customers have responded with comments regarding the amount of shipping
and handling charges we apply. To
this I suggest that prior to bidding upon our auctions, that the prospective
customers would educate themselves by evaluating other venders before
making their choice of auctions to bid upon.
I know that if they were to do so, they would find our charges
to be in line with similar product offerings. I
would also hope that the prospective customer would examine our extensive
positive feedback (>13,000+), and take note that we strive to provide
the fastest service possible - and are constantly
given strong praise for doing so. Our customers
have found out that doing business with Advance Computer is a positive
experience, and that we strive to be a top Ebay seller in terms of service
and value.
What
good is insurance?:
Insurance
is included with your shipping and handling charges. If your item does
not make it to you, we will send you a replacement shipment after the
following requirements have been met:
1) 30 days have passed since the product was
shipped.
2) Delivery confirmation shows that the product never made it to you.
Please note that we need each shipment insured because of the risk associated
with items lost or damaged in transit. If anything occurs, a second item
will be sent out in the event
the first one does not show up. You will not receive a tracking number.
It is merely a way to cover the cost of an item if it gets lost in the
mail. Please trust that we run an honest business and our overwhelming
positive feedback proves it.
Import
Duty on sales to Canada (and other countries):
Customs is a tax assessed to you by your country. Please recognize that
It is not included in any shipping charges associated with these auctions!
We cannot pay it from here. You are required to pay it from there, to
the carrier at the time of delivery. The postal service act as agents
of the Canadian (and other country's) government, they collect it from
you, and they pass it to your government. When any product enters the
country, your country's Customs agents examine the product, look at the
declared value on the customs sticker, inspect the goods and compute the
tax requirements.
