Let me start by staying "Thank you" so much for visiting my ebay store.
My name is Kathy Christine and I own and operate "The Black Fork Peddler".
I grew up in the beautiful countryside of North-Central Ohio. I have so many fond memories of my young life there and am often taken back to the century-old farmhouse that belonged to my grandparents. It sat at the end of a long, apple-tree lined lane, surrounded by thick woods and a running creek. I loved the things that my Grandmother used to fill that old home. It was warm from the wood-stove that sat in the kitchen and the scent of fresh baked goods always filled the air. I was captivated by the old cupboards, woodenware, linens & other wares that my sweet Grandmother used in the busy-ness of her everyday life. They brought a sense of comfort, happiness & home, like nothing else could. Her "simple life" inspired me in more ways than I ever realized.
I studied business & marketing and worked in management for many years, but my love for collecting antiques & country home decor was my true passion and was where my heart longed to be. In 1999, my husband and I built our country home along the historic "Black Fork River". We love our life here, where there is so much nature, beauty and peacefulness. The country life is all we know, and all we can imagine. I have 2, gorgeous daughters that bring me more joy than I can describe. Their names are Mekaylah & Mariah.

Longing to spend more time with my children and fulfill my lifelong dream, I ultimately chose leave my corporate job in 2001, and focus on my business full-time, doing what I love, selling period lighting, antiques & primitive country home decor. Though challenging at times, "The Black Fork Peddler" has been one of the best things that has ever happened to me. It has allowed me to spend more time at home, being the Mom and wife that I so desired to be and to live my dream of turning my passion into my business. I wouldn't change that for the world.
I find my faith and strength through Christ, who gives me all I need and blesses me beyond belief.
