Welcome to The Bottle Vault! My name is David Bethman, and I have been an avid collector of these neat artifacts for over thirty years, and a dealer in these same collectible antiques for the past twelve years. I sell quite a bit on ebay, and my seller's list is usually active with a wide variety of goodies. My address for additional information is... David Bethman P. O. The other space I have is at the Star Center Antique Mall in Snohomish, WA, also open 7 days a week. The Bottle Vault EBAY ONLINE AUCTIONS
Up on NOVEMBER 28th 2009, WESTERN BOTTLE AUCTION #37... 200 lots of neat stuff! Includes WESTERN WHISKIES, Blob top beers, some great PYRO and EMBOSSED WESTERN MILK bottles, COLORED SODAS, some great WESTERN WHISKEY FLASKS from WA STATE, AMBER MILKS, NURSER bottles, NORTH and SOUTH DAKOTA medicine bottles, NEVADA soda bottles, and much more. NOTE - EBAY has changed the rules regarding Postal Insurance on shipping collectibles and antiques, and does not allow insurance to be an option on EBAY. In order to protect my winning bidders and myself from Post Office mishandling, damage or loss, my Postage Charges will now include Delivery Confirmation or Insurance, as I see they needed. Sorry about that, not my choice! I have had a few inquiries regarding postage costs.... and the USPS is once again (Jan 2009) raising package rates, they now plan to raise stamp rates every May and package rates as needed, so I have decided to keep my bidders updated with what most of the postage costs will be in my upcoming auctions. I will strive to give you the least expensive postage cost, you can plan on most of my items being shipped via Priority Mail, and I will combine and ship in one box or group to save you on costs. I do not charge any kind of "handling fee" or "materials fee." A typical pharmacy bottle will ship for $5.00, a larger patent medicine bottle for $6.50, an ACL soda or embossed soda for $7.50, a QT milk bottle for $8.50, and a QT blob beer or Western Whiskey for $9.50. I can ship up to 3 medium soda bottles or 4 insulators for $10.35 in the Medium Flat Rate Box. I can ship up to 7 pharmacy or soda sized bottles for $13.50 in the Large Flat Rate box. Larger groups of bottles will be priced according to zip code sent to, though they are now considered "oversize" by the Post Office and carry a penalty in extra cost, I can usually save you about half the cost of individual shipping cost in a larger group of bottles. "The Bottle Vault" will be offering quality Western bottle and related advertising items for auction on ebay under the user ID of "thebottlevault" The auctions will be featuring goodies from the Dakotas westward thru the Rocky Mtn states, Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, and the Southwest. Items to be offered include Territorial bottles, sodas, pharmacy bottles, milks, whiskies, hair bottles, and many more categories of bottles. Theme type auctions, such as ACL sodas and drug store bottles, will also be offered. I am accepting consignments of quality bottles to be professionally auctioned for you on ebay, with great photos and detailed descriptions. These auctions began in May of 2004 and will be ongoing. Every other month or so I will be offering an excellent ebay auction, with many lots of QUALITY Western bottles and advertising items. Please check my "About Me" page for updates.
