The Cobbs Auctioneers
The Cobbs Antiques was established in 1967 in Ridgewood, N.J. to engage in the buying and selling of general line antiques and the liquidation of estates.
We have been doing numerous Estate and Insurance appraisals since 1974. In addition we have been an active member of the New Hampshire Antique Dealers Association since 1975 and are fully licensed and bonded as an Auctioneer in the State of New Hampshire and on a cooperative basis in other states.
1984 saw the addition of an auction segment known as Hedrick-Cobb Auctioneers. In 1987 we bought out Mr. Hedrick and now run the Auction business as THE COBBS AUCTIONEERS, holding many Estate, Onsite and site as well as Catalogued auctions each year.
In 1990 we augmented the auction business with estate tag sales and general line auctions, coordinated by our son Bruce Cobb.
1999: We introduce our website's: The Cobbs Auctioneers & www.noonefalls.com
During 1999 we developed our Domains and brought to life our IS Department in an effort to better serve our clients and the continuing needs of our auction business.
1999 was a wonderful year for us, not only for the purchase and renovation of our new auction hall located at historic "Noone Falls Mill", but for the addition of Charlie and Dudley's daughter Lara Lowenberg. Lara is the financial officer for The Cobbs Auctioneers. During 1999 plans were underway to increase the auction end of the company. In addition management of the Cafe' and Boilerhouse (conveniently in the same building as our auction hall) have kept us all very busy.
2000, brought another addition when our son Bruce married Francesca LaSala. Francesca is now the auction hall manager and creator of this website.
2001 marks the arrival of Francesca's mother Denise James..... A godsend!
In 2003 Bruce Cobb became a federally licensed firearms dealer and took over the sporting department
