| I started lampworking about 3 years ago after a long and futile search for someone to create lampwork beads for zipper pulls for my custom-made bags. Like most other lampworkers I did a lot of reading on the lampwork forums and bought the requisite Cindy Jenkins books. Once I felt I was ready I invested in the minimum amount of equipment required to "test out" my new hobby. It wasn't long after that I decided I was ready to play in the big leagues and purchased a larger torch, kiln, and a whole bunch of other goodies!
3 years later, here I am. I work out of my garage "studio" and am hoping to someday move inside the house where it's a little cooler. In the meantime, I brave the heat and bugs to try to fill the kiln as often as I can with my little beadies.
Currently I work with mostly Italian glass (Effetre and Vetrofond) although I do dabble from time to time in American, German, and Australian varieties as well. Each bead is lovingly crafted and thoroughly inspected by me before it leaves my hands to yours. I hope you enoy my beads as much as I enjoy making them!
