A little about me:
I live in the beautiful countryside of Middle Tennessee, on a chunk of land surrounded by rolling hills.
My hubby of 35 years and I share a love of animals, nature, and water, enjoying life as best we may. As well as tending to my "Miss Mappy" business, I take care of dogs, cats, geese, horses, and two very bossy birds. Oh, don't forget, the house and sixteen acres. We have a small houseboat on a nearby lake, and she is our heart's joy. I started making jewelry several years ago for myself, and through the encouragement of family and dockfriends, I've slowly become a business. Almost every morning, I wake up to the smell of Hubby-brewed coffee (he doesn't drink it, makes it just for me!)and then get to work (play) at my studio (kitchen table). While I create my jewelry, I'm entertained by the sounds and antics of my "twitterflit" friends, the birds, as they enjoy the six feeders we have just outside the kitchen window. Heavenly! Our home is ruled by a 12 year old Macaw named Joe, who is, by the way, perched upon my head as I type this. The term "Puttery" came about as a result of my love for simply puttering around with all sorts of things. I love to putter! 'Miss Mappy' was gifted upon me by a dear friend when she spelled my name backwards, and I've been known as "Miss Mappy" ever since. That, my friends, in a nutshell, is the story of MISS MAPPY AT THE PUTTERY.
One last thing, it brings me great joy when my creativity brings happiness into the lives of my customers. I thank you for that.
