I collect a line of pottery made by the Brown Pottery Co. of Arden NC - Valor Ware- Louis Brown made this line for Charles R. Ruegger. Charles R. Ruegger was the owner of the famous 666 6th Avenue building in New York. Before his death in 1931 Ruegger sold cookware. The Valor Ware was from his earlier line of earthenware.
This is a picture of my first Valor Ware Pot. I bought this at a yard sale in Okeechobee Florida for $3.00

My husband used to collect a line of bohemian crystal but has said that I can sell the pieces he has left. We are trying to downsize and save for retirement. Like so many others in these times, the economy has hit us hard and we must prepare for our future.
