GREETINGS from "thestellarcellar"
Have a great day shopping eBay! Corny, huh?

I guess the first piece of information I'd like to share about myself is that I USE TO have a fulltime job besides eBay.  I did that for 31 years but it got in the way of doing what I REALLY like to do .... eBay!  In all honesty, the company changed hands, things change, I needed a change, YADDA YADDA YADDA, so I decided I would take the opportunity to do eBay fulltime.  Hopefully you guys won't be any harder than my last bosses!  (Just Kidding!!)  Actually I've met SO MANY nice people on eBay!!

SO, how did THAT happen???  How did I start doing eBay?  Well, my silent partner & I went to an auction one night.  Need I say more?!  Okay, we kept going and starting buying things.  WHY?  I dunno!!  It's like getting hooked on gambling or something!  That's when I decided I had to start selling this stuff that was starting to take over our "cellar" to help support our auction habit.  Then I thought, if I'm going to sell it on eBay, I have to be good at it, I have to be "stellar" .... thus the name thestellarcellar.

A couple of things that I find important to the buyer is:

HONESTY/INTEGRITYI take pride in the total process of each transaction.  I like to sell a variety of items and find it challenging to learn what I can to accurately describe each item.  Although I am not an expert, I list each piece to the best of my knowledge concerning maker, history, condition, etc. and will stand behind any mistakes I make.

PACKING:  This is where my not-really-so-silent partner (who happens to be my husband) comes in.  He does a GREAT JOB packing!!  Just read HIS feedback!  (Sure, take all the glory!!)

SHIPPINGI do require insurance for your protection and mine.  Please keep in mind that the shipping & insurance payments are given to the Post Office for their services, not mine, to get that package to you in a timely manner and in the condition it was sent.  Loss or damage is covered by them.  (My husband takes every precaution to ensure there is no need for a damage claim on our part!)  I will, however, stick with you in the event of a claim to be sure you are reimbursed properly.

COMMUNICATIONPlease know that I will never abandon you during a transaction and to me, a transaction is not complete until you receive the merchandise and it arrived safely.  If you should have a question or concern at any time during our transaction, please email me at ladydi203@hotmail.com

If by chance I would need to be out of contact for any reason (unexpected emergency, vacation, etc.) I will post it at the bottom of this page under "PLEASE BE AWARE" so you will know why I'm not responding.

FEEDBACKI have discontinued the practice of leaving premature feedback, before the transaction is complete.  To me, the transaction is complete once the buyer has left feedback for me, assuring me they have safely received their merchandise and have given me a fair assessment of the transaction.  In turn, I will have the opportunity to rate the transaction more effectively for the feedback system.  I would hope that if a problem should arise, you will give me the the opportunity to resolve the matter to your satisfaction before leaving premature feedback for me.  I always strive to see things from your perspective and work towards a satisfactory solution.

This happened pretty long ago but I'm still going to leave the story in here so you can see that I do take pride in my feedback and that I make every effort to maintain communication, ESPECIALLY if there's a problem.  That's when it's needed most!

Regarding my one & only negative feedback (and hopefully my last):  Although it devistated me, I can understand why it happened.  This was an International shipment that arrived damaged and was being claimed through the Post Office.  The buyer was having difficulty with the claim and contacted me. Every time I replied to the buyer's email it came back to me "undelivered" and he didn't know I was trying to communicate.  I tried contacting him by phone but wasn't able to reach him with the phone # supplied by eBay, even with the help of the Int'l operator.  All the while, I was working with the Post Office on my end to help get it resolved and it's such a lengthy process.  I have since been able to contact him through his feedback and he knows I'm working with him and he has WITHDRAWN HIS FEEDBACK!  See, communication is the key and this story turned out to have a happy ending!!

I find that I need to update this.  I was devistated once again when I found I was left another negative feedback.  OH NO!  What happened???  Once again, communication was the culprit.  I had responded to an email sent to me by a buyer, only to find out through the feedback that she never received my response.  This story had a happy ending too because, of course, it was resolved with complete satisfaction.  One thing I've come to realize is that emails sometimes get lost in "cyberspace" and it's always best (on both ends) to send a 2nd email if there is no response to the first to be sure everyone is given the benefit of the doubt.  Using the eBay Message System instead is an even a better solution.

PLEASE BE AWARE:  (If I am out of contact, I will post it here.)
