Back to previous page  The Thrifty Peanut Peanut & Her Husband Who or what is "The Thrifty Peanut", you ask??? Well, "Peanut" is my nickname (given to me by my husband). My real name is Jeanne McLaughlin, and I live in Northwest Louisiana with my husband and our SIX children. We have been married for 18 wonderful years. Yes, you read right - we have 6 children, and yes we have figured out (finally) what was causing them... My husband nicknamed me "Peanut" many years ago, and a few years ago I started this little online venture of mine by selling miscellaneous items on eBay, and then started selling books & videos on Amazon as well. My husband is not known for his ability to be "thrifty", but according to him, I am (I once taped up a Wal-Mart sack so I could use it again instead of throwing it away and he has never let me live it down)... One day while I was busy listing items on eBay, he looked at me and said "Thrifty Peanut", and the name stuck!
