We replace or repair, at our discretion, the defective item within warranty period at no cost to buyer.
We pay shipping via Ground service, warranty holder is responsible for defective item to be sent back to us.

All items are securely and safely boxed with bubble wrap and foam.
We cannot ship to a PO Box.

Has my order shipped? I didn't receive a tracking number.
Tracking numbers are emailed to our customers via our shipping software when your order ships. If you did not receive the email, contact justin@str-s.com and one will be sent.
I need my item now, can you ship today?
We ship our items ASAP, we cannot guarantee that your item will ship ahead of other items in our shipping queue unless you contact us and pay for expidited shipping. We refurbish and ship our products in order as they come in.
My printer didn't come with a users manual or driver disc, how can I get a copy?
We do not include hard copies of users manuals, or drivers because of the amount of different equipment we service and they are readily available for download online. Visit our about us page for links to these downloads.
What kind of port do I have or need for my printer?
There are several different types of ports that a printer can use including Serial, Parallel, USB, Ethernet, IDN, etc.. Here are diagrams to help you identify the ports on your PC and printer:
What does ei and oki emulation mean?
Some Okidata printers have different emulations or firmware not able to be changed in the menu. Software systems require certain versions of these printers and we can do this by replacing the firmware chip on the logic board when we are refurbishing the printer. If you have a printer and you want to know what emulation you have, load the printer with paper, turn off the printer and then turn the printer on while holding the line feed button. The emulation will be one of the first things printed in the top left corner of this self test page.
What is the page count on this printer?
Due to the volume of printers we refurbish, we do not guarantee page counts. All of our printers are completely disassembled, repaired and refurbished using a combination of new and used parts. The print engine is a hybrid of different printers and we guarantee that it will perform like new or better.
If I buy more than one item can you combine shipping or give me a quantity discount?
Quantity discounts are available, contact us and we will negotiate with you. Generally, we require more than 3 items to be purchased in order for a discount on the product price or shipping.
What type of keyboard do I need for my Wyse terminal?
You can tell what type of keyboard you have by counting the amount of function keys. Ascii keyboards have 16 function keys, PCE keyboards have 12 function keys, Ansi keyboards have 20 function keys and a do button.
What is your definition of 'refurbished'?
We refurbish each type of product we sell differently. Visit our about us page for an explanation of our refurbishing process.
How can you offer such a long warranty on refurbished items?
As explained in our refubishing process, we are very thorough and have been repairing and renewing equipment for years. Our attention to detail, thorough testing and impeccable packing all contribute to a very low failure rate and allow us to offer long warranties on all our items.
I do not know how to setup the network card in my printer, can you help?
We are here to help, but before contacting us, please read the users manual for setup information. Helpful links to users manuals online and setup guides for all our products are available via our about us page.
There was damage to the package when it was received, what do I do?
Please make note of the damage, take pictures when possible and immediately unbox the item. Test the equipment and look for damage to the exterior of the item. Contact us if there is any problem and we will resolve the situation.
Do I need an RMA to send a product in for a return or repair?
You do not need an RMA, but you will need to contact us before sending in your item. After you speak with one of our salespeople, mark on the outside of the box 'return deptartment' or 'repair department.' Also, please include a copy of your invoice or a sheet of paper with all of your contact information, as well as a detailed description of the problem you are having with the equipment.
I am local to Austin, can I pick the item up?
Yes, we offer local pickups free of charge, however, we ask that you call or email us to schedule a time to come by. The item must be paid via credit card or PayPal prior pickup. Cash is not accepted.
Can you ship international?
Yes, we can ship your item international, contact us with your full address and we will send a shipping quote to you.
