I donate my art services for causes I believe in. In 2004, I painted a 50 ft X 9 ft paper mural for a school play that was preformed by school teachers to encourage reading.  In 2005, I painted and designed nine canvases for the Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby event. These canvases will be used year after year. In 2007, I created and designed the stage set for an Elementary school in Rockland County. I also worked closely with the children involved in the school drama club teaching them how to “trick the eye” when designing stage backdrops. Every year I donate my services to organizations that provide a safe and educational environment for our children. I believe we are each given a unique talent and I fell strongly about sharing it with others.

I started my business in 1996 after the birth of my first son. Starting my own business gave me the opportunity to stay at home with my son, fulfill my artistic need and to contribute to the family income. My love and passion to paint and create became a way I could remain true to myself and I could also make a living. And so, YOU OWN ARTIST was born.

In 1998, I started selling my artwork on Ebay and over the years I have had the opportunity to make hundreds of scrapbook layouts that have all sold on auction. I also make custom pre-ordered scrapbook pages for people, many return buyers from my Ebay store. I honestly have the best job in the world and I am so fortunate to do what I love.

In my spare time, I spend time with my three young boys who keep me entertained with all the sports they participate in. I love to play sports and I am extremely active. I love exercising, camping, hiking, roller blading, mountain biking, rock climbing and fishing. I love baseball, soccer, karate and basketball. I am a huge NY Yankee fan. I have a great love for animals and share my home with over 10 of them such as dogs, cats, lizards, snake, bird, fish, frogs and more. I volunteer with cub scouts and school functions and I am always keeping myself busy and welcome new adventures.
