We at TIE MERCHANT wanted to tell you about changes to be made by EBAY that will have an impact on your retail experience with us.

Both fees and certain requirements for high-volume sellers (Power Sellers) will be higher. Although we get generally high ratings for our selling performance, some Buyers do not appreciate the cost of the high-end shipping and packaging services we provide. Currently we do order fulfillment two or three times each day, both day and night to expedite receipt of your items.  Nevertheless, some Buyers have rated us lower in this particular area. It is necessary for us to make changes since this rating will now affect our Power Seller status. Ebay says their research suggests Buyers want only the lowest price and the maximum efficiency, so we are reducing our shipping charges and must therefore also reduce the added value you had previously gotten from us. We hope this makes an overall better buying experience for you, our customers.

WHAT YOUR SHIPPING COSTS PAY FOR…Shipping costs are not only postage fees, which include domestic tracking, international insurance, etc., but also packaging costs as appropriate for each item. In addition to these costs, our greatest expense is for employee time spent to provide fast order fulfillment for reduced overall shipping time.  We hope your prefer lower shipping costs that are offset by a more barebones packaging and a slight increase in shipping time.  Most of all we hope that you remain satisfied with our service.
