           TinmanArt is a combination of Alan's artistic ability, Leah's love for crafts and OUR love for the Wizard of Oz. 

Our love for the Wizard of Oz started about 6 years ago when while on our honeymoon Alan decided to look up a place in Beech Mtn., NC that he had went to as a child called the Land of Oz.  After some investigating we discovered that the once year round theme park was now closed to the public.  We did, however, meet the lady who lives on the property and opens the park (complete with a real yellow brick road!) one week end each year to host the "Oz Party" where during the two days of operation has somewhere between 6,000 - 7,000 visitors!  After exchanging stories and memories for awhile she asked Alan if he would be interested in participating in the upcomming party that October by playing the Tinman.  He did.  We were hooked!  Now, I operate a booth each year with our Wizard of Oz treasurez.  A big "Hello" to everyone who has stopped by to see us!

Since he was a child Alan has been able to draw just about anything and his over active imagination helps to create very original work.  About 5 years ago Alan discovered the wood burning craft and incorporated this with his artwork.  It has been a big hit so far! 

I cover picture frames and photo albums with all types of cloth and have taken up a little sewing (valances, pillows, rag quilts, etc.) Some of the most popular prints are princess themes, super hero themes, wedding albums & frames, or baby prints.  We even have Wizard of Oz fabric!

We also enjoy going to estate sales and will offer up for bid antique pieces from time to time.

Recently I have added a new catergory:  Gift Shop to our store.  Here, you can purchase a wide variety of home decor and gift items. These are all brand new and come straight from the warehouse.  I am listing new inventory almost everyday so please keep checking back often.
